Mrs. Draper has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business and Organization Management/Accounting, a Master of Science Degree in School Counseling, and holds a TN License and Endorsement in Professional School Counseling (certification PreK-12th grade).
She has 12 years of experience in High School Academic, College/Career, and Social-Emotional Counseling, including five years as Lead Counselor/Department Chair. Three years ago she made the switch into the world of Elementary Counseling and this is her second year at Chilhowee Intermediate School.
She enjoys using her education and life experience to serve the school community in this role. Mrs. Draper will be serving CIS on Tuesdays and Fridays this year. Her favorite parts of elementary counseling are teaching monthly classroom lessons and working with individual students to promote healthy social-emotional skills.
